Travel & Weather

For those joining us from out of town, we recommend flying into the Port Columbus International Airport (CMH).  While a route map is available, we suggest flying Southwest, Delta, or Continental Airlines.  These airlines will typically offer the least expensive rates in and out of Columbus.

The airport has eight, on site rental car companies including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.

Central Ohio’s fall colors typically peak in late October to early November, typically coinciding with the first freeze.  Fall weather in Central Ohio averages between 40ºF and 50ºF.  Don’t be surprised by temperatures on either side of that range!  A heavy, winter jacket shouldn’t be necessary.  Instead, we recommend dressing in layers and wearing a light windbreaker-like jacket.
